Am I Crazy?
So…. I’ve decided to participate in a writing challenge for the month of November. Hey, it’s only 50,000 words — a piece o’ cake, right? My goal is actually 30,000 — or about 1000 words per day. That’s what several of my students are shooting for as well.
Some of my cohorts who are also doing this challenge already have 2000 words posted! They began writing last night at midnight. I went to bed.
The clocks were set back last night; I have an extra hour…
Ok, I’m off to write a novel. Hey, this post alone just gave me 96 words!

Bravo Tina, but it would be cool to post some of this on the iA too. Just copy and paste some. I’m interested too in the progress your students make. 1000 words a day- excellent.

Have a great time! I thought about setting a smaller goal for myself but my personal theme this year is to push myself harder than I usually do and overcome my innate tendency to do things halfway, so I’m determined to meet 50k!
Hey Nancy, I’m feeling cocky because I banged out a lot of words today, but I know myself… so if I get to 50,000, it will be a miracle!
